How I got here!

Finding me

My family lost someone they loved. That's when they found me at a rescue in Oakland. I became their service dog. Not just a pet, but a healer.

New tag, new name

I used to answer to 'Roxy'. They added Poppy: a flower that blooms from pain.

Rolling through the park

Kin started pedaling me through Central Park every day, in a sidecar. Rain or shine, two hours a day. Nose out, ears up.

The buzz

One day Kin slapped a 'Squirrel Patrol' sticker on the sidecar. People waved. Took photos. Asked questions. And just like that... Squirrel Patrol was born, from healing rides to a whole community.

Kin's bit -- Oh, right. Kin. He's my driver, sidekick, and human translator. Without him, I'd still chase squirrels... but you wouldn't be able to read about it. He pedals, I report. Fair trade.
